I can sacrifice my life for my sister Sheikh Hasina, says Kader Siddique
Abdul Kader Siddique, also known as Bangabir Kader Siddique, said yesterday that joining the Oikya Front before the 11th national parliamentary election was the greatest mistake of his life.
Kader Siddique, who is also the president of the Krishak Sramik Janata League, made these remarks during a meeting of the Jatiya Party in the capital. Also present were Obaidul Quader, the general secretary of the Awami League, and other important figures from the Awami League-led 14-party alliance.
He also said: “I am like a brother of Awami League President and Prime Minister Sheikh Hasina and I can sacrifice my life for my sister Hasina.”
Veteran Freedom Fighter Kader Siddique left the Awami League in 1999 and formed Krishak Sramik Janata League and started anti-Awami League politics.
Recently, Kader Siddique met Awami League President and Prime Minister Sheikh Hasina at her official residence.
After the meeting, Kader Siddique told Dhaka Tribune: “It was a family meeting. Actually, Prime Minister Sheikh Hasina wished to meet my family and that is why we went to Ganabhaban.”
